FAQ
How do I clean and care for my Granville Biomedical anatomical model?
Silicone naturally attracts dust and other particles. Models can be cleaned with warm water and mild soap, if needed. To ensure your product stays clean when not in use, store in an air-tight container.
How do I optimize the lifespan of my Granville Biomedical suturing model?
When suturing your model or product, do not use assertive force. Gently suture the laceration closed. When finished, use surgical scissors to gently remove sutures and gently pull from the identified laceration. Do not force or rip sutures out as this may damage the material, decreasing the lifespan of your product.
Are Granville Biomedical suturing models reusable?
All of our suturing products are designed to be durable and reusable. Models are designed to simulate human soft tissue. To increase the lifespan of your model, gently remove sutures using surgical scissors from your product without using any assertive force.
What materials are used in Granville Biomedical products?
Granville Biomedical uses novel silicone recipes to achieve the most anatomically accurate look and feel. Our model stands and other ridged products are 3D printed using non-toxic PLA filament.
Do you accept international orders/payments?
We welcome all international orders and accept payments from Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, and Google Pay. All orders placed outside Canada will be converted to reflect Canadian (CAD) pricing.
