Granville Biomedical is a Canadian health tech company dedicated to advancing women’s pelvic and reproductive health through the design and commercialization of innovative anatomical models and educational tools. Our mission is to empower clinicians, educators, and patients globally with products that promote health equity, evidence-based care, and inclusive design.
Over the past year, we have made significant progress by expanding internationally, launching new proprietary products, and building strategic partnerships in women’s health. We are now seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Sales & Business Development Lead to help amplify our global impact and take our growth to the next level.
This is a full-time, contract position until August 31, 2026, with an opportunity for extension. Preference will be given to candidates in and around St. John's, NL based on funding requirements.
💼 The Role
The ideal candidate will hail from a sales or account manager background with an interest in marketing and experience working within a collaborative team environment. The candidate will lead and execute Granville Biomedical’s sales and business development strategy, focusing on growing international sales and developing key partnerships in clinical and academic sectors. This is a growth-focused, strategic role for someone who thrives in mission-driven environments and wants to make a lasting impact in women’s health innovation.
📈 Responsibilities:
- Expand customer reach and distribution networks in Granville Biomedical’s core markets
- Identify and drive new business opportunities in vertical markets
- Foster and maintain customer relationships and respond to customer queries
- Develop and present sales materials to potential customers and distributors
- Develop and execute on marketing initiatives to align with sales targets
- Establish sales KPIs and report monthly sales trends and forecasts
- Identify new sectors and funding programs for market expansion
- Negotiate international reseller and distribution agreements
- Maintain CRM and track all national and international outreach and partnerships
- Use sales data to inform product strategy and market positioning
✅ Qualifications: (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or Health Sciences or equivalent.
- Located in Atlantic Canada (NL, NS, NB, PEI)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 2–4+ years of experience in B2B or international sales
- Advanced knowledge of CRM software platforms (HubSpot, etc.)
- Proven track record of revenue growth and lead conversion
- Experience developing and monitoring data-driven analytics
- Experience in MedTech, health education, or clinical environments
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Excel
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Canva or graphic design software tools
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of social media marketing
- Passion for healthcare innovation and advancing women’s health education
Bonus Points:
- Master’s Degree (MBA)
- Bilingual
- Background in medical device sales or healthcare procurement
- Experience as a healthcare practitioner
